Welcome

We provide our users with the ability to buy and sell silver dollars. Individual members must be sponsored by existing members in order to join Silver Dollar Club.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the Personal Data we collect, how we use it, along with details on how you can reach out to us with privacy-related inquiries.

In this Policy, “Silver Dollar Club”, “we”, “our,” or “us” refers to the Silver Dollar Club entity responsible for the collection, use, and handling of Personal Data as described in this document.

“Personal Data” refers to any information associated with an identified or identifiable individual, which can include data that you provide to us, and we collect about you during your interaction with our Services (such as device information, IP address, etc.).

“Services” refer to the products and services provided by Silver Dollar Club under the Silver Dollar Club Terms of Service.

Personal Data we collect and how we use it

Our collection and use of Personal Data is limited to use within the Silver Dollar Club eco system. We do not share data with any individuals or business entities outside of Silver Dollar Club. Personal Data collected by us includes the following:

1. User Name

For each individual member, we require their First and Last Name.

2. Mobile Phone Number

We require that each member provide us with a mobile phone number. This number is used to authenticate members when they sign in to the Silver Dollar Club website and when they ship silver dollars from their Silver Dollar Club accounts. Member phone numbers are securely stored in the Silver Dollar Club database using public-key encryption.

Members are required to opt-in to receive text messages prior to accessing the Silver Dollar Club system. If a user cancels their membership they will be opted-out from receiving any future text messages.

3. Device Information

For security purposes, we store each member's User Agent information provided by their web browser when they access the Silver Dollar Club website. This information alerts us to possible unauthorized account access when the User Agent differs from previous agents.

4. IP Addresses

We log and monitor IP addresses of any remote client that accesses the Silver Dollar Club system in order to prevent attacks on the system. (e.g. hackers attempting to gain unauthorized access).

5. Transaction data

When a member buys or sells silver dollars, we keep a log of each transaction. For instance, when a member buys silver dollars, our system retains a record of the transaction, including bank name, last 4 digits of the bank account number and the amount of the purchase. All Silver Dollar Club purchases are redirected to our payment processor, Stripe, who processes payment transactions within their secure system and then redirects back to silverdollarclub.com with limited summary data about the transaction.

6. Physical mailing addresses

When members request shipment of silver dollars to an entity at a physical address, we store the entity name and address in our database.
